Italian violinist Isabella Bison graduated with distinction in 2001 and then she obtained the Konzertdiplom at the Musikhochschule Luzern with G. Carmignola, having a scholarship of the “Rotary Foundation”.
Isabella took Masterclasses with eminent violinists as P. Vernikov, M. Fornaciari, S. Montanari and Lucy van Dael.
In 2004 she was chosen for the European Union Baroque Orchestra, with which she has toured thorough Europe under conductors such as T. Koopman and L. Mortensen.
In 2004 – 2008 she served as Concertmaster of La Divina Armonia performing extensively, also as a soloist, in Europe, North and South America and Asia, and also as Principal Second Violin of Il Complesso Barocco conducted by Alan Curtis for eleven years.
Isabella appears regularly with leading period-instrument ensembles in Italy and Europe, including Hofkapelle Munchen, Les Talens Lyriques, Europa Galante, Accademia Bizantina, Ensemble Zefiro, AnimaEterna, L'Arte dell'Arco, Il Gardellino, I Barocchisti.
Isabella can be heard on over 30 recordings for Deutsche Grammophon, Virgin Classics, Naïve, Sony, Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, Passacaille, DiVox, and Dynamic.
